The Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Alberta approached Web3 to develop an online educational resource for doctors and patients. The Interventional Radiology Procedures website provides an informative guide on procedures with an educational component, including peer reviewed open-source web-based materials. Working closely with our client, we created a mobile responsive website with a colorful and energetic design, and an intuitive navigational structure sorted by chapters. We added a “Lights Out” button feature allowing radiologists in dark rooms to read articles more easily by changing the contrast, and a collaborative articling system that select internationally recognized doctors can write and submit work for review before posting. Presented at different professional medical conventions, the website went on a worldwide tour.
