ConTrac is a leading supplier of heavy equipment in Western Canada. Offering both sales and rentals, ConTrac is committed to customer service, product knowledge, and after-hours equipment support.
Like many companies in Alberta, ConTrac was looking for ways to stand out and ultimately attract more customers online. Although Alberta is a tougher place to do business than it was 5 years ago, equipment is still in demand — even if the market is more competitive. Showing up on page one of Google is certainly a good way to compete!
We created several landing pages to target various keywords (related to different types of equipment). Since starting their SEO campaign, we have been successful in ranking them on page #1 for many of their targeted keywords, and we are currently very close to getting ConTrac ranked on page #1 for “Edmonton Equipment Rentals.”
Practice Makes Perfect
Since starting ConTrac’s SEO and AdWords campaigns, we have seen their traffic increase by nearly a factor of 8, but those results didn’t come overnight. For the past year, we’ve continuously adjusted their content and created inbound links to maximize their visibility on Google.
Even though the design of the new ConTrac Equipment website is relatively simple, it has certainly given the company an edge over its competitors. We continue to work with ConTrac to manage their digital marketing as well as their SEO campaign. In 2020, we plan to get ConTrac ranked on page #1 for “Edmonton Equipment Rentals,” and help them maintain and increase their rankings for other relevant keywords.
